Fall in the Flint Hills Ride at the Roby Ranch in Pottawatomie County. Join trail riding enthusiasts for a week-end of camping and riding. Ride limited to 75 riders. Pre-registration required for ride and meal. KHC members: $25; Other individuals: $35; Non-rider’s meal: $10. Register by Friday, Oct. 2nd. Registered riders eligible for prize drawings at Sat. evening meal. Prizes donated by Classic Equine and Martin Saddlery. Out of state riders, please have coggins papers. Schedule:
Friday, Oct 16 – Camper may arrive at campground area – primitive camping, no facilities on site.
Sat, Oct 17 – 9 am – Trail riders leave camp. Pack your own lunch.
6 pm – Catered meal
Sun, Oct 18 – 9 am – Ride out. Return to camp by noon.
Directions:
· From Hwy 24 in St. Mary’s (located 20 miles NW of Topeka)
· Go North on Hwy 63 to Emmett Road., one mile north of Emmett (9 miles)
· Turn left/west on Emmett Road
· Go west on Emmett Road approximately 5 miles to the 2nd set of loading pens on the west side of the road. Look for KHC signs.
